Procrastination at its Finest
So right now I should be looking up sources for an essay that I need to write. The annotated bibliography is due tomorrow. I missed the class that this stuff is due for yesterday. What's been going on in my life? I went home [Brooklyn] on Friday. Stopped by my old job and got some free yogurt. Hung out with some coworkers. Laughed because nothing has really changed. Went to a photo convention on Saturday with my dad after getting my hair permed [finally!]. Went to Central Park with my mom on Sunday morning because she had to work a race and slept in the car. Went to Walmart and bought out the entire store with my mom on Sunday on my way back to Philly. Got stuck in traffic. Dropped half of my shit off and then my mom drove me to Temple's Ambler campus because I had to shoot the soccer game that afternoon. Left after 20 minutes and just over 100 photos. Edited them and stayed up to 2am chilling with my friends on Sunday night. Woke up at 12:20pm on Monday therefore missing three of my four classes. Took season preview photos of the womens basketball team and then went to class at 4pm. Stayed up til about 1am this morning. Woke up at 12pm therefore missing my only class for the day. And I've been unproductive ever since. I've been taking photos for The Temple News [the school paper] for the past three weeks and I've been doing pretty well. I've been on the paper since the October 13th issue and I've been published in that issue and last week's issue and this week's issue. Yay sports. I'll be shooting this week's football game against Navy. Awesome, right? No. Not when this week's game is on Saturday. As in Halloween. I wouldn't mind it so much if it weren't for the fact that I'm staying overnight. It makes sense though, seeing as how the staff has so much work to do after the game [editing, etc.] so I can't really be mad about it. After all, it was my decision in the first place to pick up the game. Meh. I won't be going to the Hollywood Undead concert in Baltimore because of it too. See, my original plan was to go to the concert with my friend and then we'd stay overnight at our friends' dorm at Johns Hopkins after the concert. Then my friend would give me a ride to Annapolis on Saturday morning so that I can make it to the game on time. But then that means that I'd have to pack all my camera gear, spare clothes, possibly a pillow and blanket and that would just be too much crap to carry around. So I thought that it would be much wiser for me to nix the concert and give the ticket to another friend so that it doesn't go to waste. I need to do work.

You know, when instances like this happen (like when you want to do some extravagant for a certain holiday) you end up realizing something entirely different in terms of celebrating it.
Like working for the Gap during the holiday season dramatically shift my entire concept of the meaning of that certain time of the year.
But fuck it, don't worry yourself; one year will past another will come. Having fun and playing all the time doesn't always pay the bills! Remember bizatach!
